Our founding team has over 30 years experience in producing, delivering and distributing premium online video content for local and global organisations to viewers all over the world. Our staff were the first to broadcast a RTMP live stream over the Akamai CDN in Australia. We are a proven, experienced and agile team with a simple goal: delivering innovative and world class solutions, integrations and support in the online video space.

After many years of using various live streaming platforms that never quite did what we wanted, we decided to build our own. We have used our 30 years of web-streaming experience to build a world leading live streaming platform, including cutting-edge redundancy measures (with both backup streaming servers and backup CDNs), in-depth analytics (direct from Google) and automatic stream recording. The 5stream platform also offers a host of on-demand features, including on-demand streaming, progressive downloads and downloadable files.

We have an extensive background in stream automation – our team was responsible for designing and building the first integrated and automated hardware video switcher and automated streamer, back in 2008. Building on our wealth of knowledge, we now offer stable and reliable automation software to make sure your stream goes live without you needing to lift a finger.
